Hello everyone,
This is my first blog. Since i have been studying computing i have to write a blog about myself. This is the first assignment from Islington college. So let this be my start my name is Samir rai. I am a fresher student of Islington College located in Nepal,Kathmandu. I live in Khumaltar,Lalitpur. I was born in 14th may in Hong-Kong . I have been raised in lalitpur from childhood. I have finished my studies secondary and higher secondary in Nepal After that I have chosen BSC-IT for my further studies at Islington college. Since i have been fond of computer games and have worked on simple programs at computer i would like to develop one. I want to be a software engineer.
I joined computing because i would like to know more about the technology and would be part of it in future. Even though i am not a bright student in past i will try to do well in every examination for BSC-IT in future. I like learning new things and solving problems. I like to listen music ,play etc.
before I joined at Islington college i had no idea where should i join and continue for my further studies. So from most of my friends i heard this college is nice and better for computing and the environment is good for studying so i joined in this college. Its good to know new friends and teachers and be more social in the college area.

ReplyDeleteIn fifth line of your blog, You have written "I am a fresher student of Islington College located in Nepal,Kathmandu" which I felt quite incorrect. It could have write like this - I am a fresher student in Islington College, located in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu , Nepal.
ReplyDeleteIn this sentence - "I was born in 14th may" I could have written your "Birth Year" and name of months should be always in capital letter "May".
I am also fond of playing computer games. I also like to listen music. Somewhere we both have quite similar habits.
Well, joined this college for computing course.As a know computing is very good course and you have chosen right course for your studies.Hope you will do your best to develop yourself to become a software engineer.
