Self-Assessment

As I have written about myself in my first blog. I must also write something’s about my achievements and what I expected to learn during my learning years in this college. Before entering this college I had studied basic course in computer and now I would like to get more knowledge in computing subject. I studied my computer subject from 4^th grade till 9^th grade till then I have studied some basic things like MS-Word, power-point, history of computer and etc. In school years I have also studied some basic programming in HTML and Q-basic.

 I also studied basic accounting, commerce and other subject which may help in future for creating different types of programs for different use.Before coming to this college I expected to become a Computing Programmer and after I have passed out from this college to create various programmers for the computer which would make people to do their work more efficiently and easily. I want to get more knowledge about computing programs and the subject. I would like to do well in every subject in the college study module. I want to become a computing programmer in the future.

 While studying in this college I would like to solve various problems in computer. I would like to develop a program for the people to make their work easier.  While studying in this college I got knowledge about computing subjects like: solving problem for IT, various types of logic and to solve the problems for logic, different types of presentation that helps us in our future. I have also learned python programming in the college. I have interest in computer so that I will be studying computing. I have learned flow chart, algorithms, structure chart, etc. I would like to learn how to use object oriented programs in Java. I am here to learn more about java programming.

Hello everyone,
This is my first blog. Since i have been studying computing i have to write a blog about myself. This is the first assignment from Islington college. So let this be my start my name is Samir rai. I am a fresher student of Islington College located in Nepal,Kathmandu. I live in Khumaltar,Lalitpur. I was born in 14th may in Hong-Kong . I have been raised in lalitpur from childhood. I have finished my studies secondary and higher secondary in Nepal  After that I have chosen BSC-IT for my further studies at Islington college. Since i have been fond of computer games and have worked on simple programs at computer i would like to develop one. I want to be a software engineer.

I joined computing because i would like to know more about the technology and would be part of it in future. Even though i am not a bright student in past i will try to do well in every examination for BSC-IT in future. I like learning new things and solving problems. I like to listen music ,play etc.
before I joined at Islington college i had no idea where should i join and continue for my further studies. So from most of my friends i heard this college is nice and better for computing and the environment is good for studying so i joined in this college. Its good to know new friends and teachers and be more social in the college area.
